Conversion kit for all Land Rover Defender 90/110 to model year 2001 with rear station wagon door. Replaces the anchor with a special gas pressure shock with soft-stop function, which keeps the door reliably open. The damper works reliably even when our spare wheel carrier is mounted for the rear crossmember. All attachments and hardware are made of stainless steel, and the kit provides improved articulation/opening geometry. The gas spring used provides an improved seal for use in dusty environments and a soft-stop during closing. Installation instructions included.
